Delivery - When, Where & How much We feel that nearly every time we go to a website and want to buy something, when we reach the bit about postage and packaging we get stung because it costs the earth! As a result, the items you thought wouldn’t be too expensive have ended up being nearly twice the price! As an end to this, at Mars 2 Venus we have tried to keep our charges to a minimum to make it both fair for you, and us.

Charges The following charges will apply for delivery and packaging inclusive:

Free | The above prices cover the outer packaging which is used to protect the products, and the shipping charges for our couriers to deliver your parcels safely or to cover the price of Recorded Deliveries.
Delivery to a residential address In the event nobody is available to sign for an item sent by courier to a residential address, a courier will normally try to deliver to a neighbour*. If unsuccessful they will leave a card at the shipping address stating which house they have delivered to. If the courier is unable to deliver, he will leave a card to allow the recipient to contact their local depot to arrange re-delivery or collection. Please note, if no contact is made with the couriers within 5 days of attempted delivery, the goods will automatically be returned to us.
*If for any reason you do not wish for your order to be left with a neighbour, please state this clearly in the Delivery Instructions box at the checkout.
Delivery to a business address If a courier fails to deliver to a business address they will automatically attempt re-delivery the following day. On each occasion they will leave a card stating that delivery has been attempted & requesting that the recipient gets in touch to arrange re-delivery or collection. Please note if contact has not been made within 5 days, the goods will automatically be returned to us.
Delivery Date If you are the only man ever to remember a Birthday/Anniversary in good time, you can request that we deliver nearer to or on the special day. We will endeavour to deliver on or as near to this date as possible. The stated charge will still apply, and please remember we do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
In stock If goods are showing in stock then they will normally be delivered in 1-2 working days. We say ‘normally’ to allow for human error and Mother Nature! Working days are Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm. It excludes Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank Holidays. Additional days should be allowed in these circumstances.
Goods ordered on a Friday in some circumstances may not reach you until Tuesday. We will however, do all we can to get your gifts to you by Monday. Goods ordered over the weekend will usually be delivered by Tuesday.
Out of stock If goods are not showing in stock when you select them, then you should see a guide on estimated delivery times of the product. If you order a product that is not currently in stock, we will keep you informed via email of delivery progress. You can also track any orders by looking at the status in ‘my orders’.

NB. All our products are sent via courier or special/recorded delivery. Everything delivered must be signed for – it cannot just be left. If no-one is at home a courier may attempt delivery to a neighbour unless you state otherwise in the Delivery Instructions box at the checkout.
